Aloha!

The summer is over and we are into this new school year. God did awesome things in the NYI.

Over in Maui God moved during their Summer Camp. Their theme for camp – “Transformers. The only history worth fighting for is the history we make today…God transforming our inside and also allowing God to transform the world around us.
Puka Naz’ own Jon Silva brought God’s Word. There were a total of 100 people at their Camp. Also, See you at he pole on Maui was one of God’s power and God’s people in unity.
Over 300 students came together for prayer. Our Lt. Governor Duke Aiona was also present at the event.

Over in Kona, just to name one of many awesome things happening over there – Kona church held a mini retreat of 18 youth for a drug awareness program. This is an ongoing ministry they lead.

On Oahu, our Summer Camp rocked! Our them was “UTURN”.
Turning from ungodly living to Jesus. Pastor Ron Merrell delivered God’s Word (speaks across the nation / Hume Lake Camp).
Point Loma Worship band “Called Out” led the song worship. It was awesome to see Hanapepe, Kona, Hilo, and Paradise Park attend Camp.
Also, a church youth group from the Mainland (Pastor Gabe Martin’s crew) came to help serve at camp. Just like on Maui – God was present!

Kaneohe “EX” Youth worship band led worship for 96744 United in Prayer.
Over 1000 people attended. We came together to pray for our Community leaders, school, and churches.
Also, I had the opportunity to MC the Kualoa Ranch (Transformation Hawaii) Worship Beach Bash. Over 20 bands came to lead us in a worship/concert.
Bands like “Red Letter” and “7 Simple Pieces” were there.
“Milele” from Kenya headlined the event leading us in an African worship celebration concert.

Up coming Events!

-Young Adult Retreat – October 7th – 9th. On Oahu at Bellows Camp ground. Cost is $30.
-Mission Oahu – November 25th – 27th. We will be serving/feeding the homeless in Waikiki, cleaning graffiti, picking up trash, cleaning houses, loving people, etc…
-NYC 2007. You will soon be getting information regarding NYC St. Louis MO. Pastor Rick Ragle is our NYC Coordinator.
